Thanks

Hello there!  I hope everyone had a fun holiday season!  Between classes, family visiting, and work, there has been very little time for crafting in my world.  As much as I love the holidays, I am glad that things are starting to slow down.  One of my goals (not calling it a resolution...they never last for me) this year is to send notes to connect more with family and friends that I do not see regularly.

Now that the pressure (and fun) of holiday card making is over, I'm spending time building a surplus of thank you and everyday cards to send.  I want to share a thank you card I made:

For this card, I used Papertrey Ink's Mini Blooms stamp set.  This is probably one of my favorite sets...I just love those dainty flowers!  Since I have been using winter colors for so long, I decided to incorporate spring colors to brighten the card.  I used Mister Huey's mist (Audrey) to add some color to the background.  After peeking at pictures of the new release mists and projects at CHA, I decided that I need to use these mists more often! Here's another look:

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!

  1. Beautiful card, Allison! I love, love, love the curved panel and the spritzing you did!
