Hello Sweet Girl!

Hi friends and Happy Friday!  I hope everyone has something fun planned for this weekend.  I'm off all weekend and plan to spend time in my craft room :)

I made a card with the super adorable Hello Baby stamp set.

I started by making the background for this card using an embossing folder and gold embossing powder.  I inked up the embossing fold with versamark and ran it through my machine with watercolor paper.  After embossing in gold, I inked the textured areas with Pickled Raspberry and Spun Sugar distress ink and spritzed water for a watercolor effect.

And another view:

I used the same distress inks and gold embossing powder to create the sentiment.  I adhered several of the hello dies together to give more dimension.  Here's a closer look:

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!!

You make me happy...

Hello there!  I have another card that I made for the current stars and stripes Lawnscaping Challenge.

I'm excited to share this card with you because it was inspired by one of my favorite songs and made for my husband.

This was truly a labor of love :)  I used Milo's ABCs, Quinn's ABCs, Lucky Stars, and Blue Skies (Lawn Fawn) to create the greeting.  I thought different fonts would be fun and playful for this sentiment.  I die cut happy out of the rainbow striped paper from the Hello Sunshine paper pack.

I added clouds from Bon Voyage stamp set and raindrops from the Hello Baby stamp set (Lawn Fawn) and embossed the images in white.  Hello baby is becoming my all time favorite stamp set...the stamps are so cute and versatile!  To finish it off, I die cut stars and hearts around the sentiment and used clear Wink of Stella to add sparkle.

Thank you for stopping by and happy crafting!

Lawnscaping Challenge #84

Hello strangers!  It has been far too long since I've shared a card with you!  I really love Tracy's beautiful and vibrant card she shared for the current Lawnscaping Challenge and used this for inspiration for the card I created.  I combined two different sets, love you s'more and lucky stars (Lawn Fawn) to make a project with stars in the design.  I'm going to play along with the Lawnscaping Challenge this week.

Here is my card:

I used shaded lilac, milled lavender, and spun sugar distress stains to create the night sky.  Stains are really fun because they are easy to get creative with and they are very forgiving :)  I also used peeled paint stain for the grass.  I stamped the starry backdrop in silver (hero arts) and then added individual stars around the sentiment.  Here is another look:

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend!
